Ryan Glasgow – Defensive Tackle – Senior – Michigan
Alex Khvatov: We have a lot of Michigan players here this week in Mobile, Alabama. What is it like to be around your teammates one last time?
Ryan Glasgow: It is really nice. It is nice seeing everyone fulfill their dreams. Playing in the NFL has been a dream for all of these guys.
Alex Khvatov: How did you wind up at Michigan?
Ryan Glasgow: The big reason was because Graham (older brother) went there. I really clicked with the old coaching staff. Coach Mattison was a big reason why I came there. He has had success coaching DL players.
Alex Khvatov: How has Jim Harbaugh been able to turn Michigan around in such a short period of time?
Ryan Glasgow: There is just something about him. The way he motivates people. It is unlike anything that I have ever seen.
Alex Khvatov: Tell me about your first day of practice at the Senior Bowl.
Ryan Glasgow: Everyone is out here to compete. Money is won or lost here. Draft stock can go up or down this week. You just put your best foot forward.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to show NFL teams this week?
Ryan Glasgow: I want to prove that I am an explosive player. I am not just someone who could stop the run. I can play all three downs and rush the passer.
Alex Khvatov: What did you learn from NFL coaches after the first day of practice?
Ryan Glasgow: People don’t yell. Our DL coach is out here to teach.
Alex Khvatov: What is your biggest strength on the field?
Ryan Glasgow: I am a reliable and accountable player. I will be in the right spot 99% of the time. I won’t take a play off.
Alex Khvatov: Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?
Ryan Glasgow: I am training in San Diego.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Ryan Glasgow: This last season was amazing. I am a Michigan grad. It is a lot more gratifying than I ever thought it would be.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Ryan Glasgow: My flexibility as a player. I have played a lot of five-technique today. I am not used to it, but I picked up on it. Just trying to learn that and become a more versatile player.
