Alex Khvatov:  What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?

Pete Hendrickson:  6'8", 305, 5.04.

Alex Khvatov:  Were you satisfied with your performance at the Pro Day?

Pete Hendrickson:  I thought I had a great showing, but I feel like I could have done even better in some areas.

Alex Khvatov:  How disappointed were you that you didn’t get an invite to the Scouting Combine?

Pete Hendrickson:  I was definitely disappointed because I wish more people could have seen my performance in person.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your experience at the NFLPA Game?

Pete Hendrickson:  The NFLPA game was great. I never got to play in a bowl game in college, so that was my first one. I really enjoyed playing against the high level of competition at the game.  It was also fun playing on the same team as some guys I have played against in the past.

Alex Khvatov:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?

Pete Hendrickson:  Tulane, South Florida and Louisville

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at Tulane?

Pete Hendrickson:  I visited Tulane, and I fell in love with it immediately. The coaches were all high on me, and the players who hosted me were friendly. I also knew it was a great academic school, so the choice was easy.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your senior season to us.

Pete Hendrickson:  My senior season was a blast. We went 4-8, but the attitude of the team would reflect a much better season. Everybody on the team had two feet in the ring, and we battled every week.

Alex Khvatov:  What will you miss the most about Tulane?

Pete Hendrickson:    I will miss my team the most.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your football career up to this point?

Pete Hendrickson:  The highlight of my football career is going up to New Jersey and beating Rutgers in the birth place of college football. That was the most fun I have ever had on a football field.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths on the football field?

Pete Hendrickson:  I am a great run blocker, and I have a great anchor against the bull rush in the pass game.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game do you still need to improve upon?

Pete Hendrickson:  I have been beat a few times by speed rushers who time the snap count and get a great jump. I need to do a better job of anticipating the snap count myself and getting off the ball faster.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your favorite NFL team?

Pete Hendrickson:  The Bucs.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your favorite NFL player?

Pete Hendrickson:  Ray Lewis

Alex Khvatov:  Who is the best opposing player that you have faced during your career?

Pete Hendrickson:  #7 from Ole Miss last year.

Alex Khvatov:  What separates you from all of the other players at your position?

Pete Hendrickson:  My athletic ability.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the greatest lesson that you have learned in life so far?

Pete Hendrickson:  Hard times reveal true character.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies away from the football field?

Pete Hendrickson:  I enjoy fishing, and playing FIFA.

Alex Khvatov:  What makes you a unique individual?

Pete Hendrickson:  I follow my heart and chase my dreams.

Alex Khvatov:  How important is education to you?

Pete Hendrickson:  Education is extremely important to me. When I came to college, I only knew that one thing was certain: I was going to get a college degree. Football can end in an instant. Ultimately, my mind will take me where I want to go in life.

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?

Pete Hendrickson:  Ideally, I will play 10+ years in the League. After that I will become a venture capitalist. I have always been the type of guy who takes ideas and runs with them. With excessive amounts of money, I will be able to promote business ideas that I feel passionate about.

Alex Khvatov:  Finish the sentence, Pete Hendrickson is....

Pete Hendrickson:  The sleeper pick of the 2011 draft.
