Describe your first day of practice at the Senior
Actually, I didn’t get to go out there today because
I had a slight foot injury. But I will be out there
tomorrow. I am excited. It made me more motivated
being out there on the sidelines. I am ready to get
out there and join them.
You had a strong week of practice at the Raycom
All-Star Game. Tell us about that week of
It was fun. It is always a privilege to go to an
all-star game. You always have to take advantage of
an opportunity and embrace it. I was able to show
what I can do. You are supposed to have fun and
What are your strengths?
I just love playing the game. I have a passion and
excitement for the game. I feel like I have a good
motor. I just give it my all on every play.
What are you trying to improve upon this week?
I want to be more consistent with my hands. I need
to keep my pad level down. I am embracing this
moment and working to improve each and every day.
You started your career at Tennessee and ran into
some trouble there, are you a changed man now?
I have learned from that experience. There are
always going to be ups and downs in your life. I
believe that I have learned from the good and the
bad in my life. That is what makes me such a strong
person today. You have to learn from your
mistakes. I feel like I have learned from them. I
feel like I have improved as a person and as a man.
It has helped me on the football field. I just try
to move forward each and every day.
Do you see yourself fitting in as an NT in a 3-4
defense or as a DT in a 4-3?
It doesn’t matter. I have played in both of those
systems. I just love to be out there on the
