Alex Khvatov:
Tell me about your first day of practice here at
the Senior Bowl.
Kevin Reddick:
I think that it was pretty good. I haven’t
played football in about a month. It was good
to break it back in. I have a little bit more
work to do in the one-on-one drills. I need to
continue to be physical and get my hands on
linemen.
Alex Khvatov:
Kevin, what are your strengths?
Kevin Reddick:
Quickness, knowing where people are going to be
and reading my keys. I think that kind of makes
up for my speed sometimes. I think that I am
fast here going from sideline to sideline. My
speed helps me out a lot.
Alex Khvatov:
Which players stood out on the first day of
practice?
Kevin Reddick:
Number 80 from Texas. Okafor is pretty good.
Also my boy from North Carolina, Sylvester
Williams had a good day. I am always watching
guys up front. They stood out in a big way
today.
Alex Khvatov:
What is the main thing that you need to improve
upon this week?
Kevin Reddick:
Just continue to get physical and continue to
get my hands on linemen.
Alex Khvatov:
Describe your career at North Carolina briefly
to us.
Kevin Reddick:
It was tough not to play in the bowl game my
senior season. But we had a good season. Coach
Fedora has this program headed in the right
direction. We were still co-champions of the
Coastal Conference. We just went out there and
made plays. We did what the coaches told us to
do.
Alex Khvatov:
Where are you training right now?
Kevin Reddick:
XPE in Boca Raton, Florida. I have been
training there since the end of December. I
will go back to school and graduate in May.
Alex Khvatov:
Finish the sentence, Kevin Reddick is….
Kevin Reddick:
I am a grown man. I am mature and disciplined.
On the field, I am smart and physical.
