Alex Khvatov:  Describe your first day of practice at the Senior Bowl.
Jeff Janis:  It was a great first day.  I was just kind of getting adjusted to Division I level of speed.  It is a little bit faster than Division II.  Nothing that I can't adjust to.  I did pretty well today.  I made some plays.
Alex Khvatov:  What do you think you showed out here today?
Jeff Janis:  I showed that I can catch the ball away from my body.  It is something that the scouts were looking for me to do.  I showed that I can separate from the DB's and compete against Division I talent.
Alex Khvatov:  What are you trying to prove this week?
Jeff Janis:  I am trying to prove that I can make plays against Division I talent.
Alex Khvatov:  Which defensive back stood out to you in practice?
Jeff Janis:  I can't just pick one.  They were all pretty good athletes.  I came from Division II, and the level of play here is more consistent.
Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about your career at Saginaw Valley State.
Jeff Janis:  I had a great experience.  I wouldn't trade it for anything.  It was a great school.  We had a great team.  I am proud of the things that we were able to do as a team.
Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?
Jeff Janis:  If I am not on the football field, I am down in the woods doing some sort of hunting.
Alex Khvatov:  What does it feel like to be a small fish in a large pond?
Jeff Janis:  I don't feel any pressure or anything.  I am just coming out and playing my game.  I have a chance to show what I can do.
Alex Khvatov:  Finish the sentence, Jeff Janis is….
Jeff Janis:  I like to consider myself a hard working and humble guy.  As far as on the field, I want coaches to see that I am willing to play any position whether it is on offense or special teams.  I will do whatever it takes.
