Alex Khvatov:  How did your first practice go?

Jasper Collins:  It went well.  It feels good to get back out here on the field.  It was good to be out here with the guys, competing and making plays.

Alex Khvatov:  How does it feel to be a small fish in a large pond?

Jasper Collins:  It is definitely different to be out here with the big school guys.  I get asked a lot where I am from.  I say that I am from Mount Union.  They respond by saying that it is a Division III school.  How did you get here?  It is still football.  You have to come out and compete.  I need to show that I can compete with these Division I guys.

Alex Khvatov:  You were one of the top receivers during the first day of practice, what was the key for you today?

Jasper Collins:  The key today was confidence.  I am out here for a reason.  I can compete with these Division I guys.  I just want to come out here every day and show that I belong on the field.

Alex Khvatov:  What has this Shrine Game experience been like for you thus far?

Jasper Collins:  It has been a humbling experience.  The Shriners Hospital is a trip that I will remember forever.  Being able to play this game is a true blessing.  Those kids will never get a chance to do it.  We have to play for them.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Jasper Collins:  I run crisp routes.  You have to be a sharp route runner.  I have good ball skills.  I can catch the ball pretty well.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game do you need to improve upon this week?

Jasper Collins:  I just need to get adjusted.  There are bigger, faster and stronger guys here.  I need to work on beating press coverage.

Alex Khvatov:  How are you preparing for the NFL Draft?  Where are you training?

Jasper Collins:  I am down in Miami.  I have been working on my speed and my technique.  I have been trying to get better.  I have been competing with the great corners there as well.  We are all getting better.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your career at Mount Union for us.

Jasper Collins:  It was a great career.  I had four fantastic years.  I loved the school and the football program.  It was great to win a Championship my senior year.  I learned a lot from the guys and I just wanted to come out, compete and dominate.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?

Jasper Collins:  I am still studying film at college.  I love that.  Outside of that, I like fishing.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the feedback that you have received from scouts?

Jasper Collins:  I have been hearing good things so far and some bad things as well.  There is always the good and the bad.  There are people who doubt you and there are others who believe in me.  So I will stick with the believers.  I will just continue to compete.  I am here for a reason.

Alex Khvatov:  Finish the sentence, Jasper Collins is….

Jasper Collins:  Humble guy who is willing to work and do whatever it takes.
