Alex Khvatov:  What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?

Henry Josey:  5’8, 194 and my forty time was a 4.43 at the combine.

Alex Khvatov:  What schools showed interest in you when you were coming out of high school?

Henry Josey:  I could have gone anywhere in Texas.  But I wanted to be different.  So I decided to go to Missouri.  It was the best decision that I ever made.

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at Missouri?

Henry Josey:  It felt like a family when I took my visit there.  They were close as a team.  They were close as an athletic program.  The coaches and the players were also close.  It felt like home.  It made things so much easier.  I learned from the program.  I took away life lessons.  There was so much support from the staff.  Missouri fans were great.  They supported me through the injury.  They stood behind me.

Alex Khvatov:  You missed the entire 2012 season due to a serious knee injury, how difficult was it to come back from it?

Henry Josey:  It was the hardest thing that I have ever been through.  I would never wish it upon anyone.  It can break you, and you can never come out of it.  It challenged me.  I don’t wish that upon anyone.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your junior season to us.

Henry Josey:  This season was amazing for us as a team.  I also accomplished a lot individually.  People doubted me, but the team supported me.  They kept saying that it was an Adrian Petersen type of comeback.  It was a blessing.  There is nothing that can hold me back in life.  I came so far in life.

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?

Henry Josey:  I just finished training at Pete Bommarito’s Performance Systems in North Miami.  I have been out there since we ended the season.  They have done an amazing job with my body.  They have also help me build more confidence.

Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about your experience at the Scouting Combine in Indy.

Henry Josey:  It was a great process.  Every kid dreams about it.  The mental process was easy for me.  I couldn’t wait to perform.  You don’t sleep because there is so much excitement.  It was great to be there with great competitors.  I enjoyed it.  I topped it off with a great performance.  I couldn’t be happier with my combine.

Alex Khvatov:  What do you plan to show scouts during your Pro Day on March 20th?

Henry Josey:  I am just doing my position work.  I don’t have to do anything else.  I did everything else at the combine.  I can’t wait to do the positional drills at the pro day again.

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you enter the NFL draft after your junior season?

Henry Josey:  I was confident in myself.  I defeated numerous odds.  I came back from a serious knee injury.  It was time to take my life to the next level.  It is something that I dreamed off.  I wanted to play in the NFL.  I am confident that I will keep getting better.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Henry Josey:  I am a playmaker.  You can put me anywhere.  I am a great leader on and off the field.  I am a great locker room presence.  I show up to play.  I am an every down back.  I catch the ball well.  I can do anything on the field.  I am a great athlete.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game do you need to improve upon?

Henry Josey:  I need to stay with the basic things.  I was working out with pro athletes.  They do everything up-tempo.  They are so intense every second.  I need to improve that.  I know that I am a good player.  I need to learn the schemes faster at the NFL.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your football career up to this point?

Henry Josey:  I am just blessed to be in a position that I am in.  I had my best game in a bowl game.  I was the Offensive MVP in the bowl.  It was my last college game.  It was an amazing feeling.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your favorite NFL player?

Henry Josey:  Adrian Petersen is my favorite player.  He is exciting to watch.

Alex Khvatov:  What separates you from all of the other players at your position?

Henry Josey:  I feel that there are a lot of guys who are one-dimensional in the draft.  I am an every down back.  I separate myself with speed and toughness.  I am a physical guy.  I compare myself to Adrian Petersen.  I run angry.  I run with power and heart.  You get my best every day.

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the toughest player that you have faced during your career?

Henry Josey:  Jadeveon Clowney.  He is a great athlete and a great player.

Alex Khvatov:  Which underclassmen on your team should we keep an eye on next season?

Henry Josey:  Maty Mauk is a quarterback who should have an amazing career.  #4 WR J’Mon (Moore) is a great athlete.  He was a freshman last year.

Alex Khvatov:  What do you enjoy most about playing football?

Henry Josey:  I love the game.  I have been playing it my whole life.  I could have played baseball, but there is no competition like football.  I love the physicality of the sport.  I love being the man on the field.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?

Henry Josey:  I love fishing.  I am a bass fisherman.  I also love being around my son every day.

Alex Khvatov:  How has fatherhood changed you?

Henry Josey:  It made me grow up.  It takes everything to a different perspective.  He is watching me and looking up to me.  I couldn’t be happier being his daddy.

Alex Khvatov:  What do you plan to do with your life after your football career is over?

Henry Josey:  I want to be a high school coach.  High school kids are more anxious around that age.  I want to help those guys.  I want to make their dreams come true.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the biggest lesson that you have learned in life so far?

Henry Josey:  Don’t take anything for granted.  God has a plan for you.  There is no excuse for anything in life.

Alex Khvatov:  Finish the sentence, Henry Josey is….

Henry Josey:  I am an outgoing guy.  I am a family guy.  I love to have fun.  I love being a kid.  I am like a big kid.  On the field, I am a playmaker.  I love the game.  I love my teammates.  I can’t wait to play at the next level.  I am excited about life.
