Alex Khvatov:  Describe your first day of practice at the Senior Bowl.

Gabe Jackson:  It was intense.  It was a great learning process.

Alex Khvatov:  How would you grade your overall performance during Monday’s practice?

Gabe Jackson:  I would give myself a B or a C.

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the toughest guy that you went up against in practice?

Gabe Jackson:  Daniel McCullers.  He is just so big.

Alex Khvatov:  Were you happy with the way you checked in at the weigh-in this morning at 339 pounds?

Gabe Jackson:  I want to be a little bit lighter.  I have to work on that.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Gabe Jackson:  My strength is run blocking.

Alex Khvatov:  What are you trying to improve upon this week?

Gabe Jackson:  I want to show my ability to block in space, run through blocks and keep my balance.

Alex Khvatov:  What was the highlight of your career?

Gabe Jackson:  The last two games of the season.  Both of those games were a must wins for us in order to go to the bowl game.  We won both of them in overtime.

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the toughest player that you ever played against?

Gabe Jackson:  Nick Fairley and my former teammate Fletcher Cox.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?

Gabe Jackson:  I like to relax.  I like to watch TV and play music.  I love to eat as you can tell.  I like to joke around and laugh.

Alex Khvatov:  Finish the sentence, Gabe Jackson is….

Gabe Jackson:  Consistent, accountable, hard working and selfless.  I will do whatever it takes to get the job done and get better.
