Alex Khvatov:  Which receivers have stood out to you during the Senior Bowl?

Dontae Johnson:  (Josh) Huff from Oregon has been the most impressive receiver out here.  He is a great competitor.  He has a great skill set.  It has been great competing against him.

Alex Khvatov:  What have you been trying to prove to scouts during this week?

Dontae Johnson:  I want to show them that I can move.  I want to show that I can cover and play press.  I have been using my long arms and athletic ability to disrupt the receivers’ timing.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest asset?

Dontae Johnson:  My length.

Alex Khvatov:  What has been the biggest highlight for you during the Senior Bowl?

Dontae Johnson:  The competition.  Everyone is always competing.  Every play is like our last.  I really admire the completion here.  The coaches have been great.  I have been learning the technique and schemes from the Falcons’ coaching staff.  It has been a great experience.

Alex Khvatov:  Are you a corner or a safety at the next level?  Where do you feel most comfortable?

Dontae Johnson:  I can play both.  I am playing corner here, but my skills will allow me to play safety.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your career at NC State.

Dontae Johnson:  NC State has been great to me.  I played as a true freshman.  I missed only one game during my career due to a sprained ankle against FSU my freshman year.  We wound up winning that game.  We upset Florida State again during my junior year when they were ranked No.3 in the country.  It was a great feeling.  That was the best game of my career.  It was definitely one of my highlights.  It is something that I will always remember.

Alex Khvatov:  Finish the sentence, Dontae Johnson is….

Dontae Johnson:  An honest, accountable guy that you can rely on.  I am trustworthy and responsible.
