Daeshon Hall – Defensive End – Senior – Texas A&M
Alex Khvatov: Tell me about your first day of practice at the Senior Bowl.
Daeshon Hall: It was everything I expected it to be. I expected to have good competition. I haven’t had my shoulder pads and helmet on for a while. I was excited. I just wanted to get out there. I wanted to fly around and have fun. I wanted to show the love of the game that I have.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to show NFL teams this week?
Daeshon Hall: I want to show them what I already put on film. I bring my hands and my feet. I just want to get better. I can compete with the best of them.
Alex Khvatov: What have you learned from the NFL coaches after the first day of practice?
Daeshon Hall: Just doing the little things right. It is the difference between being a pro and a college player. Being a grown man.
Alex Khvatov: How did you wind up at Texas A&M?
Daeshon Hall: My good friend Damontre Moore started recruiting me. He wanted to get me there. Damontre brought me there. Texas A&M is a brotherhood. We support each other. I want everyone to know that I am an Aggie. It was the best decision of my life.
Alex Khvatov: Give me a scouting report on your teammate DE Myles Garrett.
Daeshon Hall: Freaky athlete. He can do it all. He can revert speed to power. He has all types of moves. He is a great player. He will play in the league for a long time.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths on the field?
Daeshon Hall: I feel like I am more of a technician. I like to set up my moves. I have my moves in mind first. I have a little shake and bake. I have power.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Daeshon Hall: I need to get more comfortable playing with good pad level. There is always room for improvement.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Daeshon Hall: I picked off Dak Prescott my freshman year. I also had a nice shot on Dak Prescott my junior year. I also had four sacks against Arizona State, which was my biggest highlight.
Alex Khvatov: Describe your overall career with the Aggies.
Daeshon Hall: I feel like we showed the country that we can compete with anybody. We started off strong every year. We were finally able to redshirt good players. A&M will be up there in a little bit.
Alex Khvatov: Who was the best OL that you ever played against during your career?
Daeshon Hall: It would have to be Jake Matthews.
