Alex Khvatov: Tell me about your first day of practice at the Senior Bowl.
Damontae Kazee: Great challenges out there. It was great and fun at the same time. You get to meet all of these great players that you saw on TV.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to show NFL teams this week?
Damontae Kazee: I want to prove that my size doesn’t mean anything. I work very hard.
Alex Khvatov: What did you learn from the coaching staff today?
Damontae Kazee: You need to stay square. You need to have your eyes in the right spot. My eyes are always somewhere else.
Alex Khvatov: Who is the toughest WR to guard in practice today?
Damontae Kazee: North Carolina WR – Switzer. He is very quick.
Alex Khvatov: Who was the best WR that you have faced during your career?
Damontae Kazee: The best WR that I faced was Brandin Cooks from Oregon State. I was a redshirt freshman when I faced him.
Alex Khvatov: Describe your former teammate RB Donnel Pumphrey.
Damontae Kazee: I am proud of him for his accomplishments. He is small, but he has a big heart. He works hard. He is one of my best friends. He competes.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths?
Damontae Kazee: My aggressiveness. I tackle very well. When I see the ball, I go and get it.
Alex Khvatov: Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?
Damontae Kazee: I am training at XPE in Boca Raton, FL.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Damontae Kazee: My press coverage and my eyes.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Damontae Kazee: My first career INT against Ohio State. It was a one-handed interception. I don’t know how I got it.
