Ralph Green III Interview

Ralph Green III – Defensive Tackle– Senior – Indiana

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your first day at the 2017 East/West Shrine Game.
Ralph Green III:  It’s a great experience.  It is a great first day.  You are competing against the best.
Alex Khvatov:  What did you learn from your DL coach today?
Ralph Green III:  Finish everything with a rip and effort to the ball.  My college coach always told me to finish and show effort to the ball.
Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to show NFL teams this week?
Ralph Green III:  I am the best DL here.  I will run to the ball and finish every play.  I will be the first one off the ball and the first one to the ball.
Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?
Ralph Green III:  On the football field, I am disruptive.  I get into the backfield.  I read the play well and adapt to the offense.
Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Ralph Green III:  My pass rush. It is my biggest area of improvement. There are four parts to a dollar. I am still in that first quarter. I am still in that first part to that first quarter.
Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Ralph Green III:  Beating Michigan State.  It hasn’t been done in 17 years.  Winning that Bucket for years in a row.
Alex Khvatov:  You ran into some trouble at Indiana.  What were some of the off the field concerns you?
Ralph Green III:  I had an arrest for public intoxication.  I have moved on.  I failed two drug tests off the field.  I never failed a drug test in college before that.  I have never been in trouble before.  I was a class president in high school.  I was in the National Honors Society.  I was top 10 in my class.  I have never missed practice.  I was always on time.  I have learned from it.  I have grown from it.  I have to be an adult.  I have to be smarter before I make any decisions.
