1.   QB Tyler Bray 6’6” 210 (Tennessee)

He has ideal size and arm strength.  He has talented Da’Rick Rogers and Justin Hunter as his key targets in the passing game.  He should be one of the front-runners for the No.1 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. 

 

2.   DE Jadeveon Clowney 6’6 260 (South Carolina) *

He earned National Freshman of the Year honors after he recorded 8 sacks in the 2011 season.  He is a physical and athletic stud that should only get better in his second season in the SEC.  

 

3.   OT D.J. Fluker 6’6” 335 (Alabama)

A powerful run blocker that plays with a mean streak.  He has light feet and has improved in pass protection.

 

4.   DE/OLB Sam Montgomery 6’4” 245 (LSU)

He is an absolute terror off the edge with his speed and athleticism.  He could be a special player at OLB in a 3-4 defense.

 

5.   DE Kereem Martin 6’6” 260 (North Carolina)

A decorated recruit coming out of high school, he started all 13 games last season.  With Quinton Coples entering the NFL Draft, he is ready to take a huge leap in 2012.

 

6.   OT Luke Joeckel 6’6” 310 (Texas A&M)

He will be one of the top OL in the SEC next year.  He has the size and the feet to be a LT in the NFL.  He is also very fundamentally sound.

 

7.   DT Anthony Johnson 6’3” 310 (LSU) *

He is the next great DT at LSU.  He has the size and the strength to be a dominant player.  He wreaked havoc in the backfield during his freshman campaign last season.  

 

8.   DT Johnathan Hankins 6’3” 335 (Ohio State)

Hankins is a big man that will be ideal for the NT position in a 3-4 scheme.  He should warrant a top 10 selection because of his surprising quickness.  He is a similar player to Haloti Ngati.

 

9.   CB David Amerson 6’3” 185 (North Carolina State)

He has the physical tools to be a special player.  David has a knack for making the big play and it was on full display by his 13 interceptions during the sophomore season.  He just needs to improve his technique a bit.  

 

10.  LB Jarvis Jones 6’3” 241 (Georgia)

Athletic and speedy LB with the skill set to be a special player in the NFL.  He needs to work on his coverage skills and technique.

 

11.  WR Robert Woods 6’1” 180 (USC)

He has posted incredible statistical numbers during his first two seasons at USC.  He is a precise route runner with the speed to stretch the field.

 

12.  WR Sammy Watkins 6’1” 180 (Clemson) *

He was a dynamic playmaker at receiver for the Clemson Tigers during his freshman campaign.  He had 82 receptions for 1,219 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.  

 

13.  DE/OLB Barkevious Mingo 6’5” 240 (LSU)

He is yet another athletic DE/OLB standout from LSU that has tremendous speed for the position.  

 

14.  OT Seantrel Henderson 6’8” 345 (Miami, FL

Big, massive tackle who is a tremendous run blocker.  He needs to put to rest all of the injury concerns that he has faced early on in his career.  

 

15.  RB Marcus Lattimore 6’1” 232 (South Carolina)

Lattimore has been the focal point of the Gamecocks’ offense ever since his freshman season.  He must prove that he is healthy because he is coming off a knee injury.  

 

16.  CB Dee Milliner 6’1” 196 (Alabama)

An athletic corner with speed and major upside.  He is ready for a breakout season.  

 

17.  OT Jake Matthews 6’5” 305 (Texas A&M)

Jake is the starting RT for the Aggies.  He is also the son of a Hall of Fame OL Bruce Matthews. 

 

18.  WR Keenan Allen 6’3” 205 (California)

He has very reliable hands.  He makes tough catches in traffic and is also very dangerous after the catch.  Allen had 98 receptions, 1,343 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns in 2011. 

 

19.  LB C.J. Mosley 6’2” 234 (Alabama)  

He should be the next great linebacker at Alabama.  He will the key to Nick Saban’s defense next year.

 

20.  LB Damontre Moore 6’4” 245 (Texas A&M)

He possesses great size and speed off the edge.  He is a reliable tackler with plenty of upside.

 

21.  CB Tyrann Mathieu 5’9” 175 (LSU)

He was a flat out playmaker for the LSU Tigers defense last season.  He has tremendous ball skills and has a knack for forcing turnovers.  He is also a great returner.  The only knock on him is his lack of size.        

 

22.  DE Jackson Jeffcoat 6’5” 255 (Texas)

He is a solid run defender that demonstrates the ability to wreak havoc in the backfield as well.

 

23.  WR Marqise Lee 6’1” 190 (USC) *

He came on strong at the end of last season.  He had 73 receptions, 1,143 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.

 

24.  CB Xavier Rhodes 6’2” 215 (Florida State)

He has great size for a CB.  He is also very good in run support.  He would be an ideal safety at the next level.  

 

25.  WR Marquess Wilson 6’4” 183 (Washington State)

Back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons for this receiver.  He should flourish even more under  

the guidance of the new head coach Mike Leach.

 

26.  TE Tyler Eifert 6’6” 249 (Notre Dame)

He is a big TE with good hands and precise route running ability.  He is also a very good blocker.  

 

27.  LB Jelani Jenkins 6’0” 230 (Florida)

He is a speedy and instinctive linebacker with a high IQ.  He played weak side linebacker last year.     

 

28.  RB Michael Dyer 5’9” 207 (Arkansas State)

He had back-to-back 1,000 yard rushing seasons at Auburn before deciding to transfer.  He followed his former offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn to Arkansas State.

 

29.  OG Travis Frederick 6’4” 330 (Wisconsin)  

Frederick is a big and powerful OL who is an excellent run blocker.  He has the versatility to play multiple positions.

 

30.  RB Joseph Randle 6’0” 192 (Oklahoma State)

He is an elusive running back with great speed.  He has good vision and is very dangerous in the open field.  He should be the focal point of an offense that is losing Weeden and Blackmon.

 

31.  S Eric Reid 6’2” 208 (LSU)  

Last season he was the forgotten man on a very talented secondary at LSU.  He is a physical size with very good size. 

 

32.  DT Sharrif Floyd 6’3” 295 (Florida)

 He has good size for a DT.  He is a player that has the versatility to play tackle and end in multiple schemes.
